The food you need to feel your best!

Near the end of the year festivities and during the winter, one often feels heavy and woozy. The best solution is to choose foods specifically to purify yourself and feel better! We tell you all about detoxification... When we talk about detox, we're not necessarily talking about dieting, we're talking about purging our bodies, which we tend to mishandle. Ideal after the Christmas holidays, detox is a great ally if you have a tendency to overindulge in prepared meals or fast food. We'll tell you all about these foods that cleanse and restore our body's health!

The 15 allies

Grapefruit

Detox food par excellence, it is the number 1 in terms of beneficial benefits. Light in calories, it is a perfect anti-cholesterol, anti-diabetic, anti-aging and also strengthens nails and hair. That's all! It is eaten with a spoon as a starter or squeezed in the morning.

The lemon

Rich in potassium and vitamin C, it is known to be effective in the prevention of cancer, it also lowers cholesterol levels and boosts our immune system. Half of it is squeezed in a little warm water before breakfast.

The carrot

In addition to making the tan friendly and prolonging the tan, the carrot is a renal drainer and a transit regulator. Raw carrots are preferred to get the most out of their antioxidants. Detox foods: to feel lighter

Red beetroot

In addition to making a pretty colour on our plates, beetroot regulates transit and... helps destroy fat! To be eaten raw, in soup, in a frying pan, as a stuffing for ravioli, in short everything is possible!

The kiwi

This is THE dessert effect ten years less! Thanks to its vitamin C, it promotes youthfulness and intestinal transit... a little less glamorous, but good to know. Remember to add some to your fruit salads.

Apples

This fruit is magical because it avoids the absorption of fats (and moreover it fights bad breath). Don't peel the skin because it is the skin that is beneficial, but in this case, prefer organic apples that are not full of pesticides.

Garlic

Not great for breath, but so good for your health! Rich in sulphur, it promotes the creation of white blood cells and evacuates toxins. Don't forget to remove its bulb, which destabilizes digestion.

Cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli...

These vegetables have as much vitamin C as oranges, so they are a bit of a detox saviour. Bye bye toxins with them! Cabbage soup, broccoli purée or cauliflower with vinaigrette: so many ways to detoxify them. Cabbage, to fill up on vitamins... Spices (turmeric, thyme, coriander, pepper, basil, fennel) Spices are a perfect disinfectant for the intestine and also spice up and give taste to all your small dishes. Vary the colours and the pleasures by being inspired by exotic recipes.

White meats

White meat, yes, but with sauce: no! Much more beneficial than red meat, you can eat as much as you want (within reason of course). If you have a steamer, you can cook your meat in it but add spices to avoid it being bland.

White fish

Very rich in proteins, it promotes the growth and renewal of cells and is very good for the heart. Add a drizzle of olive oil on top and enjoy.

Seafood

Seafood is known for its virtues on patients suffering from tyroid problems. They are very rich in antioxidants, iron and zinc which are important elements for our balance. We test oysters with just a few drops of lemon!

Celery

Vegetable often shunned by children because of its particular taste, it is very good for your health. And for good reason, it strengthens bones and prevents cancer. If you don't like raw celery very much, you can always mix it with carrots: a winning combo!

Chlorophyll

Considered as the green blood of plants, it is an undeniable purifier of our organism. And where do we find it? Well, in green tea, which can be drunk at will! We recommend for example the detox tea from Kusmi Tea which contains a lot of maté (Latin American tea) which in turn contains a lot of chlorophyll. With this list of foods with unbeatable detoxifying properties, you give your body a big boost. No more fatigue, depression, dull complexion, small bulges and brittle hair.
