A restaurant with two hundred year old stars

Valentine’s Day is coming soon, for couples in love with good food or for singles wishing to celebrate Valentine’s Day with friends, we recommend you an unmissable place in Montpellier: La Réserve Rimbaud. There, you won’t be able to enjoy good food there, you’ll walk through the doors of a Michelin-starred restaurant, and yes, that’s it!

Charles and François Fontès are brothers, chef and restaurant manager. They welcome you in a modern and refined decoration of a building more than a hundred years old with old stones full of history. Yes, that alone makes your mouth water. Originally, in 1835, this building was a “guinguette”: “L’Auberge du Père Louis”. In 1875, Titus Rimbaud took over the establishment and gave it his name. It was not until 1902 that the Gousserand brothers turned it into a gastronomic restaurant.

Come and taste exceptional dishes at the Réserve Rimbaud in Montpellier.

From sweet to savoury, the chef’s know-how can be felt everywhere at the Rimbaud Reserve in Montpellier.

A warm concept

Proud of the Languedoc-Roussillon region, Charles Fontès mainly uses local products and embellishes them without denaturing them. On the Tasting Menu for the most gourmet, count 100 € and let yourself be guided by the chef who will offer you foie gras and pig’s trotters with black truffle, fried scallops, a doe’s back pricked with foie gras, in short, something to make your mouth water. In short, an ideal menu for a meal worthy of Valentine’s Day. For those who would like to go down there for lunch, count 38 € for a starter, main course and dessert menu and 30 € for a starter, main course or main course and dessert menu. This is still affordable!
